kate + eric { sedona wedding at l'auberge }

i ( andrew) recently photographed kate+eric's intimate wedding at one of our favorite venues l'auberge de sedona.. kate+eric are so unique. eric is mellow, has a kind and perpetual smile, and is always ready for a good laugh, while kate is off-the-wall hilarious and energetic, and captivating everyone around her with her clever humour. they also both have great taste in wine! :)

i like how color pops in the desert; the red rocks, the blue in kate's dress and shoes, the grass.. her dress was custom made just for her.

this is what i like about kate+eric, there's no stopping them.. they just have fun, constantly.. :)

Jayna and Dan ~ I Love You By and By

Jayna and Dan were married at the creekside resort L'Auberge de Sedona under a canopy of Sycamore branches.

It could not have been a more beautiful day, and this couple basked not only each other in their tremendous warmth and love, but also their family and loved ones who came from many locations far and wide to attend this wedding.

The floral and decor arrangements were crafted by Events by Showstoppers. The tasty cake was made by Andrea Blaut at Sedona Cake Couture. Fantastic live acoustic guitar performance was put on by Artists in Rhythm.

Jayna and Dan, it was amazing to see the completion of your family circle when you put the rings on each other's fingers. Thanks so much for having us document these moments for you :)

Jill and JJ ~ October Love

Jill and JJ enjoyed celebrating their nuptials, with family and friends from all around the country, on a beautiful autumn day at L'Auberge de Sedona along Oak Creek here in Sedona. JJ's uncle performed his first wedding ceremony and gave a great message.

This gorgeous couple made our job so easy because they were constantly in their own space, and really enjoying the magic of their wedding day. They were full of smiles, laughs, glances, tears, and happiness for one another... :)

This was a great group to work with, and they all treated us like family right away. Jill and JJ, thanks for having us there to document your wedding, it was really our pleasure to work with you!

Margaret Van Damme expertly coordinated this event. The delicious and beautiful cake was made by Donna at Sedona Sweet Arts. The impeccable floral and decor were designed by Events by Showstoppers.

lifestyle images with Meghan and Matt and the kids

Wow was it a hot summer day when I got to spend a bit of time with Meghan and Matt and their 3 adorable kids... Bear... the oldest dog was so so sooo adorable. It was so fun to see Meghan outside of work and also to meet her sweet family.

Meghan is the fabulous event coordinator at L'Auberge de Sedona Resort and Spa, and Andrew and I have so loved getting to know her during the past year.

Here are a few pictures of from our visit at Red Rock Crossing... not only was it really hot, but there were a TON of bugs ... but, we all managed to have some fun anyway!

Rebecca and Jason ~ Creekside Bliss

Rebecca and Jason were married at L'Auberge de Sedona on a serene creekside setting along Oak Creek in Sedona, Arizona.

Part of what made this day so fun were their two kids; their fun and charming black labrador dogs. The dogs played a key ingredient in the bridal party as the ring bearers, and also provided a good laugh as they made their way up the flower carpet aisle, with a few licks and pants for the wedding guests along the way.

Rebecca and Jason are a hilarious couple made just for each other. They have special smiles and glances for each other constantly, and are incessantly teasing one another and laughing. They made a gorgeous bride and groom!

The artistic floral and decor were put on by the amazing team at Events by Showstoppers. The delicious cake was made by cake artist Andrea Carusetta-Blaut at Sedona Cake Couture. Live music at the reception was performed by Sedona's amazing jazz combo Artists in Rythm. Hair and makeup was done by Liz Margin. Pastor Ed Reyes of Beautiful Sedona Weddings performed a beautiful ceremony.

Last but not least, the day came off without a hitch with the wedding coordination of Karen Lynn of Sedona Wedding Planner.

Gorgeous wedding invitations made by Rebecca's mom...



The shot on the left is a prep shot Andrew took of Jason getting his tie just perfect, while Katrina was photographing Rebecca having fun with her girls.



A gorgeous pair of Manolo Blahniks... a favorite shoe choice for brides.



One thing we LOVE about documenting a wedding day are all the wonderful expressions family and friends have. They are just priceless. The image to the left is of Rebecca's sister obviously so excited for her sister. Katrina really nailed this one at the perfect moment...

The image to the left was taken with Katrina's new 24 f/1.4 lens... She loves it a little too much! :)







The ring dogs (aka, the kids)... well behaved and keeping the rings safe until the ring exchange... we loved that Rebecca and Jason included them... We had our dog Fogerty, a yellow lab, be the ring bearer for our wedding over 7 years ago! So we love the idea!



A fabulous shot Andrew got right after their first kiss...



Katrina got this great shot right after the ceremony... you can really feel the happiness of the moment.
