kate + eric { sedona wedding at l'auberge }

i ( andrew) recently photographed kate+eric's intimate wedding at one of our favorite venues l'auberge de sedona.. kate+eric are so unique. eric is mellow, has a kind and perpetual smile, and is always ready for a good laugh, while kate is off-the-wall hilarious and energetic, and captivating everyone around her with her clever humour. they also both have great taste in wine! :)

i like how color pops in the desert; the red rocks, the blue in kate's dress and shoes, the grass.. her dress was custom made just for her.

this is what i like about kate+eric, there's no stopping them.. they just have fun, constantly.. :)

lindsey + travis {married} phoenix wedding photography

lindsey and travis are architects in chicago ... they met class. :) this wedding was so intimate and we really loved it... they were married in her parents beautiful backyard and had their reception the next day at one of their favorite restaurants cheuvront wine bar. the restaurant just happens to be across the street from phoenix public library which was designed by will bruder, an architect they studied about in school.

these portraits are all around the phoenix public library ... we love how graphically the images are composed... it fits their background in architecture!

the succulents are so cute and appropriate for an arizona wedding as favors ... they took a design fro one of their favorite architects and used it as a graphic on their name cards and table numbers ...

cheuveront has a section in their restaurant with great colorful opaque fabrics... we had fun playing with that in their romantic portraits....

Kim and Rick {intimate wedding}

Kim and Rick had a small intimate wedding ceremony and lunch reception at Andrea of Sedona Cake Couture's gorgeous home. Kim is a successful local real estate professional and decided to locally have her wedding in Sedona. As you will see from their images... a small wedding does not mean compromising beautiful images or a day full of meaningful moments.

A few of my favorite images from the 3 hour shoot...

The handsome couple...



Kim's dress was custom made... the seamstress took Kim's favorite aspects of three dresses and created a one of a kind original. The back is my favorite part.





Kim bought these champagne glasses almost 10 years ago in 2000... she saw them and knew someday she would get married... so sweet... you can see the year 2000 on the bottom of the glass on the image to the right.



The gorgeous patio at Andrea's home and the elegant wedding cake and family style plates of delicious food catered by Cucina Rustica.





Rick and his beautiful daughters... we love to get candid moments during the family portrait session... of course there is another picture of everyone looking at the camera but these images below I'm sure say so much more about their character and relationship.



Off to Red Rock Crossing for some romantic portraits of the newlyweds ... for the very end or May it was unseasonably cool... it had been raining a few days before and that made for great images with reflections.
