Celebrating 10 years of bridal magazine greatness, Fran Samuel, the publisher of Phoenix Bride and Groom magazine, invited Arizona's top wedding vendors to participate in a fun-filled evening extravaganza commemorating the event.
The event took place at the Arizona Grand Ballroom, located in the hiker-friendly foothills of South Mountain.
This was an incredible collaboration of extremely talented and creative minds. Jim and Ken of Events by Showstoppers and Victoria Canada, wedding coordinator extraordinaire, and her team. They poured months of detailed planing into turning an enormous empty space into a warm, inviting, imaginative, and fun party.
The participation lent by all of the thirty-or-so vendors is really too much to note here. The caterer and vendor's names are on the cute, turn-of-the-century-esque, name posters that Victoria and her team created, so you can see most of the participating vendors in the slideshow below.
We also want to mention that there was a fun video of interviews and outtakes of vendors congratulating Fran, and the team at the magazine, that kicked off the evening, put together by Serendipity Videography.

Here are some favorite images of ours from the cover shoot, some of which are also included in the magazine. Shot on location by both Katrina and Andrew at L'Auberge de Sedona and West Fork hiking area in the Coconino National Forest in Oak Creek Canyon.
Follow the green grass road... to a magical rose petal carpet. In Showstoppers' signature, over-the-top and original style, they created a detailed rose petal carpet with the petals of 800 roses! Wow. Typical of these guys to go so above and beyond in all they do!

I (Katrina) LOVE bougainvillea's... I was thrilled to see them as an accent of purple in the bouquet. The bouquet and center piece was created by Ken at Events by Showstoppers.

Our lovely model, Megan Batenic, in a beautiful hair accessory Patricia Vega, renowned Argentinian hair and makeup artist, created last minute for us after a shipment of hair accessories failed to arrive. Patricia is not only a very talented hair and makeup artist, but she also creates the most amazing hair accessories.

Our two gorgeous models, Megan Batenic and Andrew Blake... You two were a lot of fun! :) Katrina's angle on the left, Andrew's on the right...

The image that became the cover photo and inspiration for the color theme of the 10th anniversary party! The table, chairs, plates, etc., are from our friend Deb at Tri-Rentals Rentals. I (Andrew) really like this image Katrina got because the model, Andrew, surprised Megan with this kiss, and Katrina was right on it to snag the just the right moment :)

I (Katrina) LOVE LOVE LOVE this shot by Andrew... it did not make the editorial in this issue, but it's gorgeous and one of my favorite's from the shoot. Isn't the daffodil boa fabulous?! Another over-the-top idea from Jim and Ken at Events by Showstoppers.

...and here are the pictures for the party that was 10 years in the making! :) We cannot stress what a fabulous and wonderful team Victoria, and Jim and Ken made. Their collaboration created the most amazing event. As Fran, the publisher of Phoenix Bride and Groom, later put it, "Dreams really do come true...!"

Victoria had old fashioned posters created to mark every participating vendor. In combination with all the amazing details of the clown on stilts, jugglers, and acrobats, and even a popcorn station with flavored popcorn (cheesy chipotle popcorn and jalapeno-pineapple popcorn!) there was no detail left behind :)

Those are *cactus* in the floral arrangement! Ken at Events By Showstoppers created them as well as all the carrot and celery center pieces.

Instead of a candy bar ... a popcorn bar! How fun is that!? What a great idea from Victoria.

The first part of the party was all black and white... After the opening speeches everyone was then invited into the other half of the enormous tent for the remainder of the party, which was gorgeous with bright, vibrant colors.

2000 roses were used to make this amazing rose petal carpet!!

...the first issue, held by Fran, and the latest issue, held by Jennifer Rabito :)

Andrea's, of Sedona Cake Couture, fabulous cake... It was over 4 feet tall!

Fran and Victoria cutting the cake :)

Jim, of Events by Showstoppers, getting into the acrobat's ring... Showstoppers put together the rose petal carpet, all of the floral arrangements, lighting, backdrops, drapery, and palm trees; nearly everything that you see upon first glance.

One of the most fun things about having a rose petal carpet is getting to throw around the thousands of petals! A shot of Victoria and the girls from her studio that worked so hard to put it all together...
